Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in ICU and CCU settings
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with complex conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and monitor hemodynamic status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Float to various units within Zone 2, adapting to different acuity levels including PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC charting system
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Utah or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/CCU experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Willingness to float to multiple units and facilities within a 60-mile radius
• Ability to work every other weekend and 12-hour night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care skills including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record documentation
• Ability to quickly adapt to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
