Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings and scaling
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and safety
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Ensure sterilization and infection control standards are met at all times

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• CPR certification required
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Radiography certification and experience
• Patient assessment and periodontal screening skills
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education abilities
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
