Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams and procedures to ensure a smooth, comfortable patient experience
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Take and mount dental X-rays and intraoral photos as directed
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Anticipate clinicians' needs and support patient flow throughout appointments

Qualifications

• Active dental assistant certification or state registration required
• Radiology/X-ray certification strongly preferred
• Experience in orthodontics or dental assisting is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• A passion for patient care and teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Comfort with dental software (e.g., Denticon) and digital imaging
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
