Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, offering emotional support
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania
• CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is a plus
• Ability to work per diem shifts as needed
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Attention to detail and observational skills
• Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility
