Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care including feeding, mobility support, and personal hygiene
• Follow individualized care plans to meet resident goals and preferences
• Assist with safe ambulation, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with empathy
• Support residents during mealtimes with setup, assistance, and documentation
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical records system
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
• Participate in emergency procedures and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a CNA
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
• Active BLS certification
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and safely support residents
• Computer literacy including electronic medical records

Knowledge & Skills

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
• Knowledge of long-term care, rehab, dementia care, and ventilator care
