Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. One to two weeknight of call, every fourth weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies to ensure patient safety
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures using proper sterile technique
• Monitor and record all procedural data while maintaining accurate event logs
• Provide patient comfort and education about equipment and supplies needed
• Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites with sterile drapes
• Scrub into procedures using sterile and aseptic technique for infection prevention
• Advocate for radiation safety and protection for yourself and coworkers
• Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses to ensure safety compliance

Qualifications

• ARRT registered with current Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License
• Cardiovascular Technologist registered credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure procedures

Education

• Graduate of accredited radiology program - Education verification required

• Sterile technique and infection prevention protocols
• Radiation safety practices and monitoring
• Fluoroscopy equipment operation and safety
• Cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Patient preparation and monitoring during interventional procedures
