Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona

Start Date: 05-05-2026

End Date: 08-04-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour Day Shifts, typically 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift per week. Must be flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to adult geriatrics and pediatric patients on a 20-bed Med-Surg unit
Maintain excellent staffing ratios for optimal patient outcomes
Flexibly cover flu immunization clinics and float to other qualified departments
Attend staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

Three years of med-surg experience
One year of pediatric experience
Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Education

Registered Nurse license

Knowledge & Skills

Med-Surg nursing expertise
Adult geriatrics and pediatric care
Flexibility for varying shifts and floating
Strong teamwork and adaptability
