Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 12-hour shifts; every other weekend (EOW)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized care for critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, adjust treatments, and respond to emergencies
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and neonatal interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and nurses to deliver comprehensive care
- Educate and support families during an emotional time, building trust and confidence
- Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC electronic health records
Qualifications
- 2+ years of NICU experience required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Active RN license required
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Neonatal intensive care nursing expertise
- Neonatal resuscitation and emergency response skills
- EPIC electronic medical record proficiency
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and family support skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care environment
