Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts; must float to MCU/PSU/APU as needed. Weekend and on-call schedules determined by facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in acute and progressive care settings
• Teach patients and their families to help them understand and manage their health conditions
• Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record to support continuity and safety
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize each patient's care plan
• Float to MCU, PSU, and APU as needed, showcasing your adaptability and clinical expertise

Qualifications

• Acute care hospital experience required - we need someone ready to jump in
• Minimum 24 months of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit (IMCU/PCU) experience required
• PCU, IMCU, Telemetry, or Stepdown experience is a plus
• Oregon RN license not required at submission, but you must be willing to obtain one
• Certifications don't need to be active at submission, but you must be willing to obtain them
• A skills checklist specific to your discipline is required at submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in the nursing process and compassionate patient care
• Strong patient education skills for individuals and families
• Accurate medical documentation and clear communication
• Collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary teamwork
• Acute care and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• Comfort with IMCU, Telemetry, and Stepdown patient populations
