Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings, identifying changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care
• Excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective patient communication
