Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and act quickly when changes occur
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across inpatient units
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Respond to emergencies using BLS and ACLS protocols with confidence
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and execute patient plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions home
• Participate in quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current
• Previous inpatient nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-first attitude
• Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in patient assessment and monitoring
• Skilled in emergency response and ACLS/BLS algorithms
• Safe medication administration and infusion management
• Accurate clinical documentation and handoff communication
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and manage multiple patients
• Collaborative care planning and patient education
