Candidate Pay Rate: Competitive pay (market-rate for ICU travel RNs)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing care in the Trauma/Medical ICU for critically ill adults
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage ventilators, IV pumps and tube feeds with confidence
- Perform and assist with ICU procedures such as intubations and central line care
- Assess patient status continuously and implement timely interventions that matter
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
- Document assessments, interventions and outcomes clearly in Meditech EMR
- Educate patients and families about condition, plan of care, and recovery expectations
- Actively participate in unit-based teamwork and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license (Colorado or compact RN license preferred)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Recent ICU experience (Trauma/Medical ICU experience strongly preferred)
- Comfort with ventilator management, cardiac monitoring and central line care
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and provide consistent, high-quality care
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ventilator management and titration of critical drips
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and ACLS response skills
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR for charting and order entry
- Expertise with IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and other ICU equipment
- Excellent situational awareness, prioritization and teamwork
- Comfort caring for neuro and medical ICU populations
