End Date: 11-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule follows a pattern of 2 12-hour shifts and 2 8-hour shifts, every other weekend required.

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team.
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to maintain safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment following infection control standards.
  • Document care activities accurately and communicate observations to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in Vermont or New Hampshire.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted per facility policy.
  • Reliable transportation to the facility in St. Albans, VT.
  • Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend.
  • A current state or federal issued ID and ability to wear a photo badge.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of basic patient care and hygiene assistance.
  • Comfortable monitoring vital signs and documenting observations.
  • Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff.
