Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts; 4 weekend shifts per month

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to laboring patients, ensuring a safe and positive delivery experience
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart tracings, and respond quickly to changes
• Assist with cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures as a circulator
• Collaborate with physicians, scrub techs, and unit staff to support high-risk patients
• Document patient care accurately in CPN and Meditech EMR systems

Qualifications

• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Active ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• O.R. Circulator experience required
• C-EFM certification preferred; bilingual and scrub tech skills are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fetal monitoring and interpretation skills
• Familiarity with L&D procedures including C-sections, BTLs, and salpingectomies
• Ability to float to postpartum and medical floor when needed
• Adaptable and open personality with excellent teamwork skills
