Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor stepdown patients transitioning from critical care
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Assess and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
• Educate patients and families on conditions and recovery
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Current RN license verified through Nursys
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and DCI/BVP certifications required
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced stepdown environment
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
