Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess laboring patients, providing compassionate care throughout delivery
• Circulate during cesarean sections and other surgical procedures in the OR
• Interpret fetal heart rate patterns and intervene appropriately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries
• Provide education and support to new families

Qualifications

• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications required
• O.R. Circulator experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Preferred: Bilingual, Scrub tech skills, C-EFM certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in fetal heart rate monitoring
• Proficient in circulating for cesarean sections
• Strong understanding of maternal-fetal physiology
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
