Speech-Language Pathologist - Per Diem
Location: Portland, Oregon
Start Date: 08-13-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, approximately 8.5 hours per shift (start and end times vary by assignment)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet each patient's unique needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and goals
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric or hospital settings is a plus
- CPR certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
