Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during your shift, ensuring high-quality care for every resident
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining accurate documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as needed, following physician orders
• Serve as a clinical resource for team members, answering questions and providing guidance
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, safety standards, and facility policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine or a compact state
• Current BLS certification
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care standards and best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations
