Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet young patients and help them feel at ease in the dental chair
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for each procedure
• Assist the dentist during exams, cleanings, and treatments
• Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene in a friendly, accessible way
• Keep the office flowing smoothly by managing patient schedules and supplies

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Dental Assistant in the state of Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Excellent communication skills, especially with children and parents
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pediatric dental environment
• Experience with dental radiography is a plus
• A warm, positive attitude and genuine love for working with kids

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and chairside procedures
• Understanding of pediatric dental care and patient management
• Radiographic imaging techniques and safety
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
