Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately
Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal outcomes
Document care thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
Respond to emergencies and resuscitations with confidence and skill

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois (Nursys verified)
BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
DCI/BVP certification preferred
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records is a must
Previous ED experience highly valued
Willingness to complete health screenings and pre-employment exams

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
