Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, no holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Triage and prioritize care for a diverse range of acute conditions and traumas
Collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
Administer medications, perform assessments, and monitor patient status with precision
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
Proficiency in triage, trauma care, and cardiac monitoring
Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health records
Ability to stay calm and focused during emergencies
Team player with a patient-first attitude
