Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and pulmonary function tests
- Monitor and manage mechanical ventilators for critically ill patients
- Assess patient respiratory status and report changes to the care team
- Educate patients and families on breathing techniques and respiratory health
- Document treatments accurately and maintain patient records
Qualifications
- Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Current BLS certification
- DCI/BVP certification or completed competency
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work NOC shifts and varied days
- Must pass required competency exams and health screening
Knowledge & Skills
- Airway management and mechanical ventilation
- Oxygen therapy and aerosolized medication delivery
- Respiratory assessment and monitoring
- Understanding of pulmonary diseases and treatment protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in electronic health records
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
