Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, reporting changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• MST or medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to prioritize care and respond quickly to changes in patient status
