Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and treatments with a steady hand
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for their orthodontic appointments
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions with precision
• Sterilize and arrange instruments to keep everything in perfect order
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and braces care
• Update patient records using Denticon to keep accurate, up-to-date charts
• Ensure every patient feels comfortable and confident from check-in to checkout

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an orthodontic or dental assistant is a plus
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or similar credential preferred
• Current CPR certification to keep our patients safe
• X-ray certification or willingness to obtain one
• Familiarity with Denticon or similar dental software
• A friendly, empathetic approach with patients of all ages

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Denticon software for scheduling and charting
• Understanding of orthodontic tools, materials, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate care that puts patients at ease
