Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying changes and collaborating with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely while maintaining accurate documentation
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or a compact state
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous Med/Surg or acute care experience is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical expertise in medical-surgical nursing
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and team members
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
