Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly guaranteed. Weekend and on-call schedules determined by facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Teach patients and their families about health conditions and care plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate seamless, comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Oregon RN license or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Up-to-date skills checklist and resume required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in documentation and patient education
• Expertise in emergency care, including trauma and acute conditions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
