Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during braces and Invisalign procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean, clinical environment
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning
• Manage orthodontic supplies and inventory to keep the office running smoothly

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in orthodontics
• Hands-on knowledge of braces and Invisalign procedures
• Dental Assistant certification (CDA) is a plus
• Radiography certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a caring patient-first attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with orthodontic tools, brackets, wires, and aligners
• Solid understanding of dental terminology and infection control
• Attention to detail for precise chairside assistance
• Multitasking skills to support multiple patients and providers
• Compassion and patience when working with patients
