Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Take and develop dental X-rays with accuracy
• Document patient care and update medical histories
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments to maintain safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification
• Certification in dental radiography
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Familiarity with dental software and patient records
• Attention to detail and excellent infection control practices
• Compassionate patient communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
