Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, every other weekend and holidays as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced ED setting
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses
• Maintain accurate electronic health records using Meditech Expanse
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Respond rapidly to critical situations and code events

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience
• Active Massachusetts RN License (must be uploaded with profile)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (must be current and in hand at submission)
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Traveler must have own vehicle for assignment
• Availability for specific interview dates and times (no 'anytime' accepted)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert clinical skills in emergency nursing and trauma care
• Proficiency in cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable with rotating day shift schedules
