Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with emergent and urgent conditions
Triage patients using evidence-based protocols to prioritize care
Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for medical, traumatic, and pediatric emergencies
Administer medications and treatments per hospital policy and provider orders
Operate cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and point-of-care devices
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and EMS to deliver coordinated care
Document assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record
Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, and code blue protocols

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and rapid decision-making
Triage and rapid assessment
Collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams
Emergency nursing, trauma care, and cardiac care
Remaining calm under pressure
