Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity in a fast-paced ED
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Document patient care accurately and advocate for patient needs
• Respond quickly to emergencies and stabilize critically ill or injured patients

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Emergency department experience is a plus
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and triage systems
• Skilled in patient assessment and rapid decision-making
• Comfortable with IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency procedures
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities
