Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays to assist in patient diagnosis
• Position patients accurately and ensure their safety and comfort during imaging
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, following safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to review images and provide optimal care
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control and safety protocols
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions to help ease anxiety

Qualifications

• Active Radiology Technologist license or certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and Trinity Health competency testing
• Compliance with facility health requirements including COVID-19 vaccination and TB screening
• No prior experience needed; new graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of radiology imaging techniques and safety standards
• Skill in operating X-ray and imaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
• Effective communication and patient interaction skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation and imaging systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
