Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Location: Portland, Oregon
Start Date: 08-13-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, as needed (approximately 6 hours per shift)
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging exams
- Operate radiologic equipment with precision and care
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to capture optimal images
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Oregon state radiologic technologist license or eligibility to obtain
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Prior experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of radiologic positioning and imaging techniques
- Familiarity with radiology information systems and PACS
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfort using diagnostic imaging equipment safely and effectively
