Shift Type: Various shifts available including days, evenings, and weekends; typically 8.5 hours per shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images
Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively
Assist radiologists during procedures
Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiography
Louisiana state license as a Radiologic Technologist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech preferred
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in various imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, and MRI
Knowledge of anatomy and positioning techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
