Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans for residents in skilled nursing and rehab
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress and communicate with the care team
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
• Support a positive environment focused on patient-centered care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Montana (or compact eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and therapeutic modalities
• Proficiency in documenting in electronic medical records
• Excellent patient interaction and motivational skills
• Understanding of safety and infection control practices
