Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and ready for use
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, providing support with suction, retraction, and equipment
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office workflow to ensure a smooth experience

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Dental Assistant with a current certification
• Experience working in an orthodontic or dental practice is preferred
• Great communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and orthodontic treatments
• Proficiency with dental charting software, such as Denticon, is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
