Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth experience
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean, safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions with precision
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
• Support the dental team with clinical and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Orthodontic Certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience as a dental assistant, ideally in orthodontics
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials
• Skill in taking and processing dental X-rays
• Familiarity with Denticon dental software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to infection control and sterilization standards
