Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during periodontal procedures with precision and care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Provide compassionate support to patients, ensuring their comfort throughout visits
• Take and develop dental X-rays, capturing high-quality diagnostic images
• Document patient treatment plans and update records accurately
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Radiology certification (x-ray) and experience with digital imaging
• Experience in periodontics or dental specialty is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail with a commitment to patient safety
• Time management and multitasking abilities
