Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the pediatric dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-specific licensure preferred
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children and parents
• Proficiency in dental software and record keeping
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
