Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across the cancer continuum — from diagnosis through survivorship and palliative care
• Design individualized, evidence-based exercise programs to improve mobility, strength, and quality of life
• Provide clear, compassionate patient education to support self-management of symptoms like pain and fatigue
• Manage cancer-related impairments including lymphedema, pain, and functional limitations
• Coordinate care with oncologists and the multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure seamless patient journeys
• Perform thorough documentation in EPIC and Expro to support continuity and quality of care
• Use standard PT modalities (e.g., Estim, USD) safely and effectively as part of treatment plans
• Maintain patient-centered scheduling and one-on-one treatment focus — one patient at a time

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire physical therapy license in hand (NH or Compact allowed) — required at upload
• Minimum 2+ years of current PT experience — no new grads
• Demonstrated Oncology PT experience — oncology required
• Outpatient orthopedics experience — required
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification — required
• EPIC and Expro experience — required
• Competency with common PT modalities (Estim, USD) — device-specific training provided as needed
• Own vehicle for assignment travel and on-site needs
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Perm address included in profile and any requested time off documented at submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and clinical reasoning for oncology populations
• Exercise program design focused on cancer-related impairments
• Patient education and teaching for self-management
• Lymphedema management and symptom mitigation strategies
• Care coordination within multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Use and safety of PT modalities (Estim, USD)
• Comfort with EPIC and Expro documentation systems
• Ability to manage a typical outpatient caseload: evaluations and 30–45 minute treatments
