Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour day shifts: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and occupational/speech therapists.
- Document patient progress accurately in Cerner EMR according to hospital standards.
- Participate in early mobility programs for critically ill and ventilated patients.
Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification from AHA
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR is strongly preferred
- Ability to float between inpatient and outpatient settings as needed
- Traveler-friendly and adaptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, and medical rehabilitation
- Skill in developing and adjusting treatment plans for diverse populations
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
