Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Provide patient-centered care focused on safety, quality, and positive outcomes
• Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model
• Communicate effectively using SBAR and interdisciplinary communication
• Manage time efficiently to contribute to overall team performance
• Continuously seek learning opportunities through certification and education

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of straight medical-surgical nursing experience (no float, SDU, or telemetry)
• Experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center
• Active Michigan RN license (license verification required via LARA and Nursys)
• Current BLS certification (or obtain upon hire)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
