Shift Type: Days, 7:30 AM start, 80 hours per pay period, weekend rotation required

Bill Rate: $75,000 - $110,000/year

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine their rehabilitation needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Plan and implement evidence-based treatment programs that help patients regain function and independence
- Document patient progress accurately to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate and supervise physical therapist assistants and support staff to deliver high-quality care
- Coordinate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize recovery
- Serve as a clinical instructor and mentor for PT and PTA students, shaping the next generation of therapists
- Educate patients and families on their condition, treatment, and preventive strategies for long-term wellness
- Apply a wide range of treatment modalities tailored to each patient's age, condition, and goals
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) that meets Michigan licensure requirements
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Michigan
- Successful completion of all fieldwork placements
- Demonstrated competency in physical therapy principles and techniques
- Field experience in physical therapy
Education
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy principles and techniques
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- Documentation and record-keeping
- Delegation and supervision of support staff
- Patient and family education
- Clinical instruction and mentorship
- Age-specific care from birth through geriatrics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with modern office, computer, and telephone equipment
