Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide therapy interventions to help patients improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home care
• Collaborate with the therapy team and facility staff to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Mexico (or eligibility)
• 1-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• CPR certification is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
• Experience with geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
