Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and help them feel at ease during blood draws
• Perform venipunctures and fingersticks with skill and compassion
• Verify patient identities and ensure proper specimen labeling and handling
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure accurate and timely test results
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Provide excellent customer service and answer patient questions

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist in a clinical setting is a plus
• Ability to make patients feel comfortable and cared for
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of proper blood collection techniques and safety protocols
• Familiarity with electronic health records and specimen handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
