Shift Type: Flexible 12.5-hour shifts, as needed, including weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure surgical instruments are meticulously cleaned and sterilized, playing a vital role in patient safety
- Assemble and package instrument trays with precision, ensuring everything is ready for the operating room
- Operate sterilization equipment and maintain detailed records to uphold the highest standards
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and deliver supplies promptly
- Follow infection prevention protocols to create a safe environment for patients and staff
- Manage inventory levels and rotate supplies to prevent waste
Qualifications
- HSPA or CBSPD certification is a plus, but we welcome those willing to obtain certification
- Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field is wonderful, but not required if you're eager to learn
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for quality and safety
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited sterile processing training program (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of sterilization standards and infection control practices
- Ability to operate various sterilization equipment and maintain them
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and proper handling
- Inventory management and record-keeping skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weights
