Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs including blood pressure and pulse oximetry before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation administration under the supervision of the oral surgeon
• Take panoramic X-rays to support accurate diagnosis and surgical planning
• Assist during wisdom tooth surgeries and ensure a smooth, efficient procedure
• Provide clear and compassionate post-operative instructions to patients and their families
• Prepare and maintain the operatory, ensuring all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant in an oral surgery or similar setting
• Comfortable with nitrous oxide and IV sedation procedures
• Skilled in taking panoramic X-rays
• Confident monitoring vital signs like BP and pulse oximetry
• Knowledgeable in wisdom tooth surgery protocols
• Excellent communication skills to guide patients through post-operative care
