Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleanings and patient education
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized and ready
- Document patient care accurately in dental records
- Provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to support efficient patient flow
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience providing dental hygiene care
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work efficiently with 30-minute appointment time slots
- Attention to detail and infection control practices
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and periodontal care
- Skill in using dental instruments and equipment
- Patient-centered communication and empathy
- Time management to keep appointments on schedule
- Familiarity with dental practice workflows and documentation
