Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleanings and patient education
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized and ready
• Document patient care accurately in dental records
• Provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience providing dental hygiene care
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work efficiently with 30-minute appointment time slots
• Attention to detail and infection control practices

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and periodontal care
• Skill in using dental instruments and equipment
• Patient-centered communication and empathy
• Time management to keep appointments on schedule
• Familiarity with dental practice workflows and documentation
