Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform dental cleanings, exams, and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a clinical dental setting preferred
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a busy schedule and adapt to changing needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Familiarity with dental radiographs and digital imaging
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
