Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during wisdom tooth extractions and other surgical procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse oximetry
• Administer nitrous oxide and IV sedation under supervision
• Take and develop panoramic X-rays with precision
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a safe environment
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear post-operative instructions

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Hands-on experience with oral surgery and IV sedation
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately
• Experience with panoramic X-ray equipment
• Understanding of nitrous oxide and IV sedation protocols
